In plain words: Purrwiggle helps you organize your pet's care, but it is not a vet. Always follow your veterinarian, and call one right away in an emergency.
These terms are an agreement between you and GetBerq LLC ("we", "us") about your use of the Purrwiggle app and website. By using Purrwiggle you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If you downloaded it from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if the two conflict, Apple's agreement wins for matters it covers.
1. Not veterinary advice
Purrwiggle helps you organize your pet's care: reminders, logs, food checks and articles. Everything in the app is general information, not veterinary advice, and it is not a substitute for a veterinarian. Food safety lists and health tips can be incomplete or may not fit your pet. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions. If your pet may be sick, injured or has eaten something harmful, contact your veterinarian or an animal poison control service right away.
2. You stay responsible for your pet
Reminders and notifications can be late, missed or turned off by your phone, and other household members may log things incorrectly. Please don't rely on the app alone for feeding, medication or vaccine timing.
3. Your account and household
On iPhone, the app creates an anonymous account for you. On Android there is no account and your data stays on your phone. You're responsible for the information you enter and for who you invite to your household. Household members can see and change the shared pets and records. Don't enter information about other people that you don't have the right to share.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's data, disrupt our servers, reverse engineer the service beyond what the law allows, or use it for anything illegal.
5. Links and purchases from other companies
Some features open other services, such as Amazon. Purchases you make there are between you and that company, under their terms.
6. Paid features
Purrwiggle is free today. If we add paid features later, they will be sold through Google Play or the App Store, prices will be shown before you buy, and subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your Google Play or App Store account settings.
7. Our content
The app, its design, characters, text and code belong to GetBerq LLC. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms.
8. Changes and ending the service
We may update the app, change or remove features, or update these terms. If a change to these terms is significant, we'll tell you in the app. You can stop using Purrwiggle and delete your data at any time: on iPhone from Profile → Delete my account and data, on Android by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, GetBerq LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on information in the app. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, except where the law of your home country requires otherwise.
