Add the widget on Android
- Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen and tap Widgets.
- Find Purrwiggle, then drag the widget onto your Home Screen.
- Choose which pet it shows. You can resize it by touching and holding it, then dragging the edges.
- To switch pets later, touch and hold the widget and tap the pencil or Widget settings (the wording depends on your phone).
Add the widget on iPhone
- Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps jiggle.
- Tap Edit (or +) in the top corner, then search for Purrwiggle.
- Pick a size and tap Add Widget.
- To choose which pet it shows, touch and hold the widget, then tap Edit Widget.
You can also add Purrwiggle to your Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then add it under the clock.
Share with your family (iPhone)
- Open Profile and tap Invite family.
- Send the 8-character code or show the QR code. Codes work for 7 days.
- The other person installs Purrwiggle, opens Profile → I have a code and enters it. Their pets move into the shared household.
Family sharing is coming to Android soon. Until then, the Android app keeps everything on your phone.
Reminders aren't showing
- iPhone: check Settings → Notifications → Purrwiggle and make sure notifications are allowed. Focus modes can hide them too.
- Android: open Settings → Apps → Purrwiggle → Notifications and turn them on. If reminders arrive late, set Purrwiggle's battery usage to Unrestricted.
- In the app, open Profile and check that Hungry alerts and Daily tip are on.
Changes from my partner don't appear (iPhone)
Both phones need an internet connection. Pull down or reopen the app to sync, or tap Profile → Sync now.
Delete my data
iPhone: open Profile → Delete my account and data. This removes your account and server data right away.
Android: everything is stored only on your phone. Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Settings → Apps → Purrwiggle → Storage, and it's gone. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is Purrwiggle veterinary advice?
